Final Fantasy XIV update 2.1 coming on December 17th

Looks like Square-Enix has finally decided on a date to release the upcoming update 2.1  for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, titled  A Realm Awoken. Includes in the update is a slew of new content such as the introduction of Crystal Tower, a 24 player dungeon, Wolve’s Den which is a new PVP arena, player housing (which managed to get this done before World of Warcraft).

Final Fantasy XIV update 2.1 will be released on both PlayStation 3 and PC, followed up with the PlayStation 4 version in April 2014.
