Hanging out with Playart’s Kai Variant Batman figure

By Keith MitchellOctober 9, 2013

I recently received my Playarts Kai Variant from Bigbadtoystore.com (Thanks Guys) and I’d have to say that i’m fairly impressed with it. That being my first ever Playarts figure and that the amount of detail is staggering and the price was fairly cheap at $79 + $20 for shipping. This figure is number 1 of 3 which also includes DC Comic’s Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, not sure if I’ll pick those up as well.

Included in the package was Batman (Of course), a set of interchangeable hands, a batarang, a  grappling gun, katana sword and a stand for the figure. The design of Batman is very pleasing, is super detailed and extremely pose-able thanks to the articulated joints so putting it into your favorite action poses is pretty easy to do.  Also noteable is the cloak, it reminds me of Spawn’s cloak and it flows very well the design of figure however I could do without the spikes at the bottom of the cloak.

Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase and definitely recommend this figure regardless if you’re new to the world of figures, casual or a hardcore figure buyer. If you’re interested in purchasing the figure from Bigbadtoystore, here’s the link for you.
