Ready for more Power Rangers?

If you’re like me you grew up on Power Rangers and eventually after the 4th or 5th rendition you simply lost count, but you still watching them. Well that doesn’t stop Saban & Co from cashing in on great american money machine and pushing more Power Rangers in your face.  So what do they have cooking up this time? Power Rangers Megaforce, yes Megaforce. I mean what else do you do when aliens start attacking our precious planet Earth?

You assemble a team of teenagers that know martial arts, give them access to some Zoids and you send em loose to kick some alien ass.  Check after the break to get more info on Power Rangers Megaforce.

As an added bonus it’s reported that we’ll get to see the rangers of old however the report didn’t mention which rangers they were referring to.

Power Ranger Megaforce is set to launch on February 2nd, 2013 on Nickelodeon.



Power Rangers Megaforce introduces a plot line that is sure to captivate audiences with exciting new characters, villains, and high-octane action. The new series features Gosei, a supernatural guardian who for centuries, has protected the earth with his robotic aide, Tensou. But when the evil Warstar aliens begin their massive invasion, Gosei calls upon five teenagers with attitude to form the ultimate team…the Power Rangers Megaforce! When the teens morph into Power Rangers, they gain superhuman strength, agility, and mastery over martial arts. In addition to defending earth against the Warstar aliens, other monstrous factions emerge to challenge the Megaforce Rangers. Under the leadership of a malevolent alien, toxic beasts rise from their slimy underground lair to attack the Earth and a ruthless robot army launches an offensive from their deep sea compound. In order to face these new threats, the Power Rangers Megaforce unlock powerful battle modes to fight their adversaries.

For centuries, the earth has been protected by a supernatural guardian being named Gosei and his robotic aide, Tensou. When the evil Warstar aliens begin their massive invasion, Gosei calls upon five teenagers to form the Power Rangers Megaforce! When the teens morph into Power Rangers, they gain superhuman strength, agility, and mastery over martial arts. With the aid of special Power Cards, the teens are able to control the earth’s elements to use in their defense, from crushing rock slides to powerful floods. With their newfound abilities, the Power Rangers Megaforce will prove that “Earth’s defenders never surrender!”

Five high school students are called upon by the all-knowing Gosei to defeat a new evil determined to destroy planet Earth. They will become Power Rangers Megaforce. Using their cards, they will unlock all-new weapons, zords, and megazords. The battle has never been greater. The villains have never been more dangerous. And the Power Rangers have never been so strong.
