In a world where major car companies are receiving a television anime, you can add Honda and Yamaha to that list. Netflix announced that the companies are coming together to create an anime known as Tokyo Override which will be set in a motorbiking cyberpunk world.
It looks to feature both real-world and original-design motorcycles.
Netflix describes the anime as follows:
“In AI-optimized Tokyo 100 years in the future, an orphan teenage hacker blends in until a favor for her only friend inadvertently draws her into a benevolent gang of outcast motorcyclists, uncovering the seemingly utopian city’s sinister underbelly through a murder investigation linked to a drug syndicate.”
