NieR: Automata Comes to Goddess of Victory: Nikke

Glory to Mankind! 2B, 9S, and A2 of Square Enix’s NieR: Automata is coming to the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

The description of the event follows:

“A D-WAVE fluctuation has occurred at one of the factories on the surface. Together with the Counters squad, the Commander heads to the site to investigate, but gets unexpectedly bogged down. Saving them are robots from another world…”

In preparation for the collaboration and for the character’s appearance, Shift Studios has released new promo art and animation of 2B and 9S that you can recruit in the game. It is also noted that the characters will be reprised by their original English and Japanese voice actors. Kira Buckland / Yui Ishikawa as 2B. She will be utilizing the Virtuous Rifle, a tribute to the Virtuous Treaty Blade that she uses in the original game.

And Chermai Leigh/ Ayaka Suwa returns as A2. She will use the Type-40 Blade. However, in Nikke, it is indicated she will use a rocket launcher. How it translates to her blade will be demonstrated later.

Fans and players have been waiting for this collab since it was originally teased during the one-year anniversary of the game. The design and animation from Shift Up Studios prove that they have respect for the original source game. If you are a person of culture and sexy designs, then this is a collaboration you don’t want to miss. So if you have been saving up your gems and summon tickets, you may be able to bring these two under your command. The collaboration event is scheduled to go live on September 1st and will last until the 28th. As these are collaboration characters, they will not return in the future.

The prior collaboration before this included Chainsaw Man with characters of Makima, Power, and Himeno.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is available on iOS, Android, and PC.
