Insomniac Confirms Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will Release Fall 2023

As part of the PlayStation in 2023 Highlights, released on the PlayStation Blog, Insomniac has revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, for PlayStation 5, will be released in the Fall of 2023. While no exact date has been mentioned, knowing that the title will be released in 2023 (unless it gets delayed) is more than enough for the many fans of Marvel’s Spider-Man games on the PlayStation platform.

While Insomniac has yet to release much about Spider-Man 2, it confirmed that both Peter Parker and Miles Morales would return in this new adventure.  Also, Kraven and Venom, villains (and anti-hero) who have been a thorn in the side of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, will be the villains of the title.

Towards the end of the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reveal trailer, you hear two distinct voices. The first asks for the duo “to finally give me what I desire,” and is clear on what he wants, which is the MO of Kraven the Hunter. The other is classic Venom, and he refers to himself as “We,” as it’s both the Syombiate and Eddie Brock, speaking as one. Fans of the series have been asking for Venom to join the series for years, so it’s going to be refreshing to see him in action.

As big fans of Marvel’s Spider-Man, both the games and comics), we’re looking forward to playing this when it gets released in 2023.
