Microsoft Is Set to Release Two New Xbox One Controllers; Red and Green Orange

By Keith MitchellJanuary 10, 2017

Not satisfied with already having several Xbox One colored controllers already available for purchase, Microsoft will release two more; Red & Green. The first is a red controller, one that was mentioned previously, features two-tone matte red finish with gloss highlights on the triggers, bumpers, and D-pad. As well as behind the thumbsticks.

This controller is now available now at the Microsoft store, Gamestop or select retailers.New Xbox One Controller Red

The second controller looks more like it stepped out of a military movie, with it’s green and orange color scheme. Definitely reminds me of a military flight jacket. Similar to the red controller, the green version features green matte finish and gloss highlights on the triggers, bumpers, and D-pad. As well as orange accents behind the thumbsticks.

This controller is a timed exclusive (for controllers?) and will be available for purchase at the Microsoft store and Walmart on January 24th, 2017. After which it will be available at all select retailers on January 31st, 2017.

Both controllers are based on the redesigned Xbox One controller. They include a textured grip, Bluetooth, and an improved wireless range. They will be usable on the Xbox One, Xbox One S, as well as Windows 10 devices.
