Pokemon Sun and Moon Anime To Air on Disney XD

By Todd BlackNovember 17, 2016
Pokemon Sun and Moon Anime Pokemon Live-Action Series

The Pokemon anime is easily one of the most important parts of the Pokemon universe. In fact, it’s the way many get to experience the world when not playing the games. Over the last many years, the anime has been on Kids WB, and then on Cartoon Network. Well today, Disney XD announced that they will be the host for the Pokemon anime as it journeys to the Alola region. Ash and Pikachu are still its stars, but things have changed this go round.

The series has a different art style, and as the trailer below reveals, the journey to Alola is not exactly relaxing. The series itself will debut in January, however, due to the deal with the Pokemon Company, the first two episodes of the Sun & Moon Anime will air on December 15th after the debut of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, the latest Pokemon film, as a teaser for what’s to come.
