World of Warcraft Legion Companion App Launches Today

companion app

Blizzard Entertainment made an announcement at this past weekend’s PAX West that a companion app for World of Warcraft‘s newest expansion, Legion, will launch today. The application will be mainly used to help manage your Order Hall while you are on the go. The application does have some additional features to help keep track of world quests.

The full list of features of the companion app include:

  • The ability to do Order Hall Missions straight from your phone.  You will be able to complete the missions and collect the loot on your character without having to be logged into the game.
  • You can research your Order Hall talents and upgrade your Order Hall.
  • You can manage the equipment of all of your followers/champions.
  • You can train all of your troops.
  • You can view world quests, including their timers right on the application itself. You can even sort and filter the world quests.

In order to use the companion app, you must be logged out of World of Warcraft as the app cannot be used simultaneously while logged into the game.  The app is free to download and use and will be available for both iOS and Android mobile devices.
