Zelda II: The Adventure of Link Gets Dual OST Upload To Nintendo Music

Two-for-one special!

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Nintendo Music

Nintendo Music continues to be a gift that “keeps on giving” in certain ways, as it allows Nintendo Switch Online users to tap into their musical side and enjoy tracks from both past and present games! Donkey Kong had some tracks from his most recent game enter the service the other day, and now, we’re going way back in time to the NES days to show off the soundtracks for Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Yes, you heard that right: “soundtracks,” as apparently, the game had different sounds on the NES and Famicom Disk System, which means you now have 39 tracks to listen to, should you desire.

Music from the Nintendo Entertainment System and Famicom Disk System versions of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link are now available on the #NintendoMusic app!

For those of you who don’t know about Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, that might honestly be for the best. The game is the “black sheep” of the family in many respects, as it changed many things from the original game that fans didn’t resonate with. That’s why, when A Link To The Past happened on the SNES, they reverted to the top-down perspective and just made everything grander, which turned out to be a fantastic idea.

Even still, hearing the game’s soundtrack after so long will definitely be a treat.
