This marks one of the first times a major Nintendo soundtrack has been officially released on vinyl outside of Japan. The collection showcases the work of composers Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe, who crafted a score that perfectly balances serenity, tension, and wonder. From gentle piano melodies that guide players across open fields to the pulse-pounding energy of battle themes, this soundtrack remains a defining part of Breath of the Wild’s legacy.
With these vinyl releases, Nintendo and Laced Records are giving fans a new way to experience the unforgettable sounds of Hyrule. Whether you’re a longtime Zelda fan or a collector chasing rare game soundtracks, this is one release that deserves a place on your shelf.
This is looking mighty attractive, and I may have to add a record player to my setup, I really do want to pick this up and you should to. While I love my digital and CD video game collection, there’s something about listening to it on a record. Lastly, this could make a fantastic, but late, Christmas gift for the Legend of Zelda fan in your life, or maybe just for yourself.
