With WrestleMania 42 just around the corner, there’s been a bunch of new updates for WWE 2K26 that are worth talking about.
As we head into WrestleMania season, it’s hard not to think about all the Superstars, Legends, and classic moments that made it what it is today. WWE 2K26 is leaning into that, giving players more chances to recreate those iconic matches or make some new ones of their own.
To help people catch up, especially with Ringside Pass Season 2 launching on April 15, there are a few bonuses being rolled out. From now on, players will get enough RXP for Season 1 to unlock 20 tiers (just give it up to 24 hours after logging in for it to show up). On top of that, anyone who’s already been playing and has their 2K account linked before April 14 will also get enough RXP to unlock 20 tiers in Season 2 when it starts.
They’re also making progression a bit easier going forward. The RXP needed per tier is dropping from 800 to 625 in Season 2, and it won’t increase again in future seasons. RXP Boosts are getting buffed, too, which should help speed things up.
Another nice change is with the Premium Ringside Pass; starting from Season 2, all four DLC characters will be available right away at Tier 1, so you won’t have to grind to get access to them.
Alongside all that, Patch 1.07 is now live and brings a mix of gameplay tweaks, balance changes, and new content across the board.
One of the bigger changes is to stamina. It now drains more gradually over the course of a match, so you shouldn’t get winded as quickly. Reversals are also less punishing stamina-wise in multi-opponent matches, which is a welcome tweak. There’s also been an adjustment to avoid instant disqualifications if you accidentally hit the referee too hard.
A few new moves have been added as well, including Chelsea Green’s Cradle Flatliner and Blake Monroe’s Glamour Shot finisher.
“The Island” mode has seen some updates too, like being able to Prestige straight from the Training menu, plus there’s a limited-time 2x VC event running for PvP matches from March 30th to April 15th.
There are plenty of other fixes and improvements across Creation Suite, Universe, MyFACTION, MyRISE, and more, so it’s a pretty substantial update overall.
It’s clear the developers are still listening to feedback, and these changes should make things feel a bit smoother heading into WrestleMania season. For more WWE 2K26 be sure to read our review.
