Where Winds Meet Surpasses 15 Million Players in Just One Month

Well, that was pretty quick

Where Winds Meet hits 15 million players in one month

NetEase has announced that Where Winds Meet, the free-to-play open-world action RPG set in ancient China, has surpassed 15 million players, in just one month, as the game officially released on November 14, 2025!

Everstone Studio is excited to announce that Where Winds Meet, the acclaimed free-to-play Wuxia open-world action-adventure RPG, has reached a new milestone of 15 million total players across all platforms worldwide since its recent mobile launch on December 12th, claiming the No. 1 spot on the App Store free charts in 60 countries.

Everywhere I go, I hear someone talking about Where Winds Meet, and for good reason. The combat looks genuinely enjoyable, the world is and there are so many different ways to play the game, which likely explains how it managed to surpass 15 million players in just one month. That kind of success is pretty damned remarkable if you ask me.

I’ll be honest though; I haven’t played it yet. I’ve been waiting for some real downtime so I can sit back and fully immerse myself, and with the holidays coming up, I’ll finally have a few days to myself. And yeah, I already know exactly what I’ll be playing.

Kudos to Everstone Studio and NetEase Games for knocking it out of the park.

Where Winds Meet is currently playable on PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as mobile devices on iOS and Android.
