WEBTOON Entertainment (Nasdaq: WBTN), a global entertainment company and home to some of the world’s largest storytelling platforms, is headed to LightBox Expo for the first time from Oct. 24 – Oct. 26, 2025, hosted at the Pasadena Convention Center. WEBTOON will bring a lineup of creator- and editor-led panels designed to help aspiring and professional artists unlock new opportunities in the world of webcomics.

WEBTOON Creators Purpah (Suitor Armor), GRAVEWEAVER (I’m the Grim Reaper), ROSEOAK (Not So Silent), and Ucheomaaa (Vibe Check!) will share their journeys becoming professional Creators, what it takes to thrive as a webcomic storyteller, balancing creative output with business savvy, and building a global audience for their work.

WEBTOON editors and producers behind hit series like Lore Olympus, Osora, The Mafia Nanny, and unOrdinary will demystify what makes a comic stand out online, exploring everything from distinctive visuals to narrative structure and character development.

WEBTOON’s full panel programming details are as follows:

  • Creator to CEO: The Rise of Webcomic Entrepreneurs (Friday, October 24 at 4:45 pm in Room 204) — Featuring Purpah, Suitor Armor creator; GRAVEWEAVER, I’m the Grim Reaper creator; ROSEOAK, Not So Silent creator; Ucheomaaa, Vibe Check! Creator; and Rob Salkowitz, Eisner-nominated journalist for ICv2 and Forbes. Moderated by Josh Cain, host of the What’s Up, Fandom podcast.
