Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo Gets A Release Date

By Scott AdamsJuly 11, 2025
Graphic detailing the September 17th 2025 release date for Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo

Today, Developer Dank Hearts and celebrated publisher WhisperGames are excited to announce that Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo, a psychological puzzle-adventure game about memory, trauma, and healing, will be released on PC Steam on September 17, 2025.

About the Game – Illogical Logic

In a city twisted by memory and emotion, six teenagers awaken without knowing how they got there. This strange metropolis, the one Noise Scramble City, is a surreal, Tokyo-like prison built from trauma itself. To escape, one must solve over 40 unique puzzles, explore dreamlike environments, and piece together the fragmented pasts of the cast.

More than an escape room, Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo is a deeply emotional journey that merges narrative and gameplay, asking players to confront not just mysteries, but the hidden wounds within the characters’ hearts.

Meeting the Cast

An exciting array of characters will join you including: Zena Yugamizora, our 15-year old protagonist, an icy girl that loves superhero team shows; Itsuki Houzuki, a 16-year old boy tormented by jealousy; Honoka Kirishima, a sharp-tongued, stubborn, and skeptical 16-year old girl; Kaito Shimizu, a 17-year old withdrawn boy, bearing visible and emotional scars; Hiyori Endou, a 17-year old streamer girl and habitual liar; Soto Ochibana, a meddlesome yet honest 15-year old boy; and Specter, the Whimsical Watcher of the City.

Brought together by a shared crisis, this group of teens must escape the city while confronting the memories buried deep within their hearts. As each of them grapples with whether they can accept their past selves, the true nature of the city slowly becomes clearer…

These six brain-teasing stories explore the complex struggles people face today, alongside universal themes shared by all of us. As you journey through the past with these boys and girls, you’ll uncover the delicate emotions hidden deep within your heart—and confront truths you never even realized were there.
