TurboGrafx-16 Mini’s final game line-up bumped up to 57 titles

By Keith MitchellAugust 8, 2019
Turbografx 16 final game lineup

During E3 2019, Konami announced their Turbografx-16 Mini. A retro console that when we first heard about it, only included a small amount of classic Turbografx-16 games. Since then they’ve slowly added more games.

Today they’ve released a new trailer that shows off the last few games that made the cut. This includes Seirei Senshi Spriggan, Spriggan Mark II, Dragon Spirit, Galaga ’88, The Genji and the Heike Clans, The Legend of Valkyrie, and Splatterhouse. This brings the total amount of games to 57. Which is way more than many of us originally thought we’d see on the console.

Sadly, some of my all-time favorites such as Gates of Thunder, The Legendary Axe, Devil’s Crush and Konami’s Snatcher in English. But seriously, no Devil’s Crush? That really hurts!I’m hoping we get some sort of surprise announcement, seeing how the console won’t be released until 2020. Fingers crossed, c’mon Konami don’t disappoint us.

Lastly, and more importantly, it has been confirmed that M2 is in fact working with Konami on the Turbografx-16 Mini. Many had speculated this team had something to do with it. Seeing how they also worked some magic with the Sega Genesis Mini, it’s great to see them working on this as well.
