Get ready to mop up some mutant mayhem! With San Diego Comic-Con 2025 just around the corner, indie publisher Retroware is heading West with a radioactive surprise. The team behind the upcoming Toxic Crusaders beat-’em-up will be joining forces with cult film legends Troma for a special celebration—and fans won’t want to miss what’s coming next.

On Saturday, July 26, the worlds of indie gaming and gore-soaked cinema collide during the It’s Troma Time panel, celebrating over 50 years of Troma’s outrageous film legacy. Kicking off at 9:00 pm PDT in Room 25ABC at the San Diego Convention Center, the event promises surprises and shocking reveals.

Troma co-founder and underground icon Lloyd Kaufman will headline the panel with new info on his latest film, Troma’s The Power of Positive Murder. He’ll be joined by:

  • Andrew Miller – Producer
  • Adam Peltier – Star
  • Catherine Corcoran – Actress (Terrifier, Return to Nuke ’Em High)
  • Mathew Klickstein – Author of Lloyd Kaufman Interviews

The panel will be moderated by Megan Silver.

Closing out the panel, Retroware’s Creative Director Justin Silverman will premiere a brand-new gameplay trailer for Toxic Crusaders, an over-the-top beat-’em-up inspired by the 1991 cult cartoon. Following the trailer, Silverman will deliver a major announcement about the game’s release, so if you’re in attendance, you may not want to leave early!
