The Nintendo Museum was one of the more unique things that The Big N dropped in 2024. It was the brainchild of Shigeru Miyamoto, who knew that the company had a LOT of things within its various warehouses and halls that were just collecting dust instead of being shown off to the public. Now, the museum is open, and it’s one that will continue to grow over time. For example, we know that there is a small exhibit for the Nintendo Switch 2 there, and that will grow as the console continues to grow and release more titles.
But focusing on the present, the Nintendo Museum has revealed that its art gallery is officially open. This gallery brings together many different art pieces, including concept art drawings and promo items for key titles of Nintendo’s past, together so you can see how things started and where they ended up:
Nintendo announced that the art gallery inside the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto is now open. Description: In addition to original drawings of various game characters from Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, etc. you can see development materials for some games.
