One of my favorite TV shows, The Legend of Vox Machina, is finally coming back, as season four is set be released on June 3, 2026, courtesy of Amazon Prime Video. The timing couldn’t be better either, given that the spin-off series The Mighty Nein has already wrapped up its run and now we’re all waiting for season two of that show.
Seeing how June 2026 is still a few months away, let’s do a recap of sorts.
What Happened At The End Of Season 3?
Ah, yes, let’s do a quick refresher, since it’s been a while since we’ve seen The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3. This time around, Vox Machina finally brought the fight to the Chroma Conclave, the group of ancient dragons that nearly wiped Tal’Dorei off the map. Over the course of the season, the team tracked down and equipped the powerful Vestiges of Divergence, legendary relics that gave them the strength needed to stand toe-to-toe with the dragons. The battles were brutal and pushed everyone to their limits, but Vox Machina eventually managed to break the Conclave’s grip on the world, bringing an end to one of the biggest threats the realm had ever faced.
And everyone lived happily ever after… is what I’d like to say. But this is Vox Machina, and they aren’t that lucky. Sure, the world may finally be free from the dragons, but the finale makes it clear that something even darker is looming on the horizon. With the Tal’Dorei recovering from the devastation, the closing moments hint that Vox Machina’s story is far from over, with bigger dangers waiting for our reluctant heroes.
Oh, and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen with Pike. She went through quite a bit during that last season, and it ended with her connection to the Everlight becoming strained, causing her to lose faith. That moment was represented by the cracking of her holy symbol.
Season four is going to be a banger, just like every season prior has been, and I can’t wait.
The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
