The Last Of Us Season 2 Trailer Brings Danger and Dark Promises

"You swore."
By Todd BlackMarch 9, 2025
The Last Of Us Season 2

With its first season being pretty much a masterpiece, The Last Of Us Season 2 has plenty of pressure on it. Not to mention, it has to adapt a game that (unlike its predecessor) is pretty divisive amongst the fanbase. Regardless, many are eager to see how the HBO series starts off its journey with the 7-episode Season 2. A new trailer has dropped on that front, and with it comes teases of a “good life” that is ruined by the “monsters” just outside the gate. Yet, as we know, in this world…the monsters aren’t just the undead.

It’s clear that the action will be plentiful, the stakes high, and the backlash severe for past mistakes and broken promises. We won’t spoil what happens in the game, but make no mistake, you will be traumatized when certain things happen.

The Last Of Us Season 2 arrives on HBO and Max on April 13th.
