It might seem like a lifetime ago, but it’s not even been two months since the shocking announcement of Splatoon Raiders. Nintendo shadow-dropped the announcement alongside the reveal of a big Splatoon 3 update, and since then, gamers have been itching for more information. In the reveal trailer (which you can see below), Deep Cut receives a treasure map that leads them to the Spirhalite Islands, and they end up crash-landing there. Once on the ground, they meet up with “The Mechanic,” and a new adventure begins.
Not much was known about the game, but apparently, a Malaysia-based retailer let loose some tidbits about the game, including when it might come to the Nintendo Switch 2…

Obviously, since this retailer is the embodiment of an “unofficial source,” we have to take it with a grain of salt. However, Splatoon Raiders was shown off in a rather unique way, and many are predicting a Nintendo Direct to FINALLY show more Switch 2 games soon, so it could be that we learn more about it then. Only time will tell!
