Sony Days of Play Starts May 28, PlayStation Plus Lineup For June 2025 Revealed

By Sean GarmerMay 27, 2025
Days of Play

Sony’s Days of Play celebration combines game sales, console and accessory offers, and announcements through a two week period from May 28 to June 11. For example, in the United States, the PlayStation 5 Pro is $50 off making the console $649 (USD). Also, there’s a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 regular PlayStation 5 console bundle starting at $399 (USD), while in Europe and Asia the regular PS5 is on sale starting at $399 as well.

Along with other sales such as $50 off the PlayStation VR2, $30 off a PlayStation Edge controller, and $20 off the Dualsense wireless controller.

PlayStation Plus Announcements With Days of Play

As part of the full Days of Play announcement, the PlayStation Plus monthly games, which are part of the lowest tier of PS Plus called PS Plus Essential, have been revealed, with the latest Destiny 2 expansion, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, becoming available on May 28. The rest of the lineup features three games that are available as of June 3. With the NBA season near its end, NBA 2K25 is a major addition coming to the service. Along with the indie title Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and the recent reboot of Alone in the Dark, as the lone PS5-only game.

In a bit of an early announcement, Sony’s also revealed some additions coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. The middle section of the service, PS Plus Extra, receives the indie Souls-inspired Another Crab’s Treasure, which is PS5 only and becomes available as of May 29. Then there’s Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones on June 2, the rest of Destiny 2’s Expansions in the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection on June 4, and Grand Theft Auto III on June 10. Plus, new game trials for one of 2025’s major hits in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Civilization VII. PlayStation Plus Premium also sees the classic Myst and its sequel Riven, hit the highest tier of the service too.

Ultimately, this is just the early announcements for Days of Play with sales on hundreds of games, NBA2K25 tournaments, and much more in store throughout the two weeks. One thing’s for sure: there’s plenty to play this month for PlayStation gamers.
