Silent Hill f Story Trailer and English Voice Cast revealed at Gamescom ONL 2025

By Keith MitchellAugust 19, 2025
SILENT HILL f is not a Soulslike, stop calling it one.

During Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, Konami unveiled a brand-new story trailer for Silent Hill f, showcasing the English voice cast for the very first time. The haunting footage not only sets the stage for the game’s disturbing atmosphere but also reinforces that this is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious entries in the series yet.

Check out the Silent Hill f Story trailer below.

A New Story Set in 1960s Japan

In the remote mountain town of Ebisugaoka, teenager Hinako Shimizu leads an unremarkable life, that is, until the day a dense fog descends, transforming her once-familiar home into a desolate and terrifying nightmare. The streets fall silent, loved ones vanish, and an unknown menace begins creeping in from the mist.

To survive, Hinako must navigate spectral remnants of her past, solve intricate puzzles, and face grotesque creatures that embody the corruption swallowing her town. Every step through the fog pushes her closer to impossible choices—ones that blur the line between beauty and madness.

At the heart of Silent Hill f is its narrative, written by renowned author Ryukishi07, best known for his work on Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry. His signature style blends psychological horror with raw explorations of human nature and societal expectations.

Unlike the more action-focused entries in the series, Silent Hill f is returning the franchise to its roots. Players can expect exploration-heavy gameplay, challenging puzzles, and encounters with disturbing monsters that serve as physical manifestations of Ebisugaoka’s decay.
