Shugo Chara! Launches Fashion Collaboration With QOOZA

By Josh PiedraJune 4, 2025

BEENOS Inc. is proud to announce that a new fashion collaboration featuring the iconic 2000s anime Shugo Chara! is now available through QOOZA, an official Buyee partner site. The collection reimagines the beloved series with a modern twist, blending Y2K aesthetics with QOOZA’s signature subculture-driven style.

Originally broadcast from 2007 to 2010, Shugo Chara! has seen a resurgence in recent years thanks to its compelling storyline, unique character designs, and fashionable heroine. This collection draws inspiration from Amu Hinamori, the show’s main character, incorporating her Y2K-era styling into a darker, edgier aesthetic that reflects QOOZA’s gothic-meets-kawaii sensibility.

Based on the manga by PEACH-PIT, also known for Rozen Maiden, Shugo Chara! centers on Amu Hinamori, a stylish yet conflicted heroine navigating her identity and growth. Her distinctive fashion—now widely embraced as emblematic of Y2K Japanese culture—has gained renewed attention, particularly in connection with PEACH-PIT’s upcoming 25th anniversary exhibition.

QOOZA, a Japanese brand known for “villain-style fashion,” is at the forefront of the gothic, Lolita, and jirai-kei scenes. This collaboration fuses their signature darkly cute style with Amu’s bold, layered look, reinterpreting her iconic aesthetic with a rebellious, rock-inspired edge.

The collection includes seven unique items, each themed around Amu or one of her Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, Su, and Dia. This lineup is a must-have for fans and fashion-forward collectors alike.
