Shigeru Miyamoto Drops Special Super Nintendo World Message For Orlando Opening

Here we go!
By Todd BlackJune 3, 2025
Super Nintendo World, Shigeru Miyamoto

It’s been a little bit since Super Nintendo World finally debuted at Universal Studios Florida via the all-new Epic Universe. This is now the third location for the ever-growing park, and it’s fair to say that this is possibly going to be the most popluar one, given how many people go to Orlando every year. Amidst everything that’s going on there, Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto decided to film a special greeting (for the Nintendo Today app) to those who may come to the park soon. In it, he comments on the unique entrance to the “Epic Universe,” even saying that the one for the Nintendo park is a bit fancier than the one in Japan.

He breaks down the park experiences you’ll get, while also highlighting…that it’s pretty hot in Florida! What a guy. You can check out the Super Nintendo World greeting below:

Miyamoto recorded a new video specifically for the Nintendo Today App."Florida is quite hot, which means you can really feel the jungle as you walk through it"This man is a treasure!

Shigeru Miyamoto had a big hand in getting this park off the ground all three times, and we’re sure he has big ideas on what he wants to do with the next expansion to the place.
