SGF 2025 – MindsEye Reveals New Trailer Including A Nice Surprise

By Jordan AndowJune 6, 2025
MindsEye x HITMAN Reveal

During the Summer Game Fest 2025 show, we got another trailer for MindsEye from Build A Rocket Boy in partnership with IO Interactive. The new trailer showcases the game’s stunning near-future world, explosive action-packed combat, and the compelling journey of Jacob Diaz—a former soldier whose neural implant may hold the key to a global conspiracy involving rogue AI, corporate corruption, and humanity’s survival.

An additional surprise was shared in the trailer’s final moments, which revealed the unmistakable silhouette of Agent 47, the iconic assassin from IO Interactive’s Hitman franchise. Build A Rocket Boy and IO Interactive confirmed that Agent 47 will feature as a playable character in a post-launch mission designed by the team at Build A Rocket Boy. Set to release this July, the MindsEye x Hitman collaboration mission will be created with Build A Rocket Boy’s proprietary Game Creation System, an intuitive tool that allows both developers and players to build custom games, new stories, and entirely original experiences.

The MindsEye x Hitman mission is the first collaboration announced, and part of the long-term content roadmap already planned following MindsEye’s launch. In addition to the scripted campaign, MindsEye will be an ever-expanding player experience, with new studio-created premium content delivered monthly, thanks to the power of BARB’s Game Creation System.

MindsEye is scheduled to launch on June 10th, 2025. Players can pre-order now on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, and follow updates on X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
