Sea of Stars Mobile is Heading to iOS and Android Devices

By Keith MitchellJanuary 16, 2026

Sabotage and Playdigious have revealed that the tandem will be bringing the amazing retro RPG, Sea of Stars to the mobile market. Scheduled to be released on April 7,2026, this is quite the feat, and the title is simply one that shouldn’t be ignored, especially if you’re a fan of RPGs. The game will be priced at $9.99, but if you pre-order pre-register for it now, you’ll pay $8.99 on the Apple Store and Google Play, up until the game launches.

Since Sea of Stars is heading to the mobile market, a number of enhancements are also coming with. Touch screen support is being added, while the game will still be compatible with physical game controllers. Progress can also be saved in the cloud, and cross-progression will be possible between iOS and Android. Which also means you’ll be able to play on your smartphones and should you have a setup box like the Apple TV, Nvidia or any number of Android-based setup box, you’ll be to play it on there as well.

For fans of smartphone gaming who either don’t own a console or PC, or simply don’t have time for them, but enjoy the games that come to those platforms, they normally miss out. So, it’s nice to see that Sabotage, the developer of the game, and Playdigious, who will be handling the porting and publshing for the mobile market is making this happen.

We reviewed Sea of Stars and we thought it was one of the best RPGs to be released, the art direction is amazing, the soundtrack is fantastic and it’s an experience that no RPG fan should miss.
