Singer and voice actress Rico Sasaki has announced that she will release her full-length album RI PATHOS on June 3, 2026. Featuring ten all-new songs, the album reflects her journey to date and the future she is moving toward as an artist.
Each track is built around themes closely connected to Sasaki herself, with the album as a whole shaped by the choices she has made and the people she has encountered along the way, including detours and unexpected turns.
The limited first-press edition will include a bonus track, “Tezukuri no Uta,” the first song for which Sasaki wrote both the lyrics and music herself.
In addition, tracks from the album will be released digitally over five consecutive months ahead of the full release. The first advance track, “Maru de Matryoshka,” is now available on streaming services.
Rico released a comment on the album:
The full album RI PATHOS represents the path I have walked so far. Even when things didn’t go smoothly, moments of uncertainty or stopping to move at my own pace were all important parts of that journey. I believe the time I spent taking those detours was necessary to connect with people I could never have met by moving straight ahead. Driven by passion, this album captures, in new songs, the moments when my soul was deeply moved. Through the five months of advance digital releases and the album’s release, I would be happy if you would continue walking this path together with me.
