REIRIE, a two-member unit formed in 2023 by Rei Kuromiya and Rie Kaneko, will make their major-label debut with the release of their first EP, Amethyst, on January 28, 2026, via MoooD Records, a label under Bandai Namco Music Live. Ahead of the release, the group has unveiled new artist photos, the EP’s jacket artwork, and the music video for “AISHITEYO,” one of the tracks featured on Amethyst.

The new visuals feature a black-and-white palette set against the theme color of amethyst. Styling that layers contrasting materials such as lace, fur, and leather reflects REIRIE’s balance of stillness and movement. Their delicate yet sharp demeanor leaves a strong impression as the start of a new chapter.
Amethyst will be released in three editions: the REI Edition, the RIE Edition, and the Standard Edition. The REI Edition includes a Blu-ray featuring footage from the free live show “JAM,” held on September 12 at Kabukicho Tower Stage, while the RIE Edition comes with a Blu-ray of the Tokyo performance from REIRIE Live Tour 2025 -BaD=DoLL-, held on October 26. As a first-press bonus, all editions will include one randomly selected trading card from a set of six.
The EP comprises five tracks rooted in guitar rock, incorporating emotional, alternative, and R&B elements that highlight the duo’s expressive range and vocal contrast. The advance digital single “BaD=DoLL,” composed by Yuki Tsujimura and MEGMETAL, delivers an emotionally charged rock sound. “AISHITEYO,” by the same creative team, channels raw emotion and heightened drama, further brought to life in the music video released today.
The EP also features “Holy Brighters,” which portrays heroism that moves forward despite doubt and anxiety, “Not Philosophy,” which explores strength and love through emotion rather than words, and “Contact,” a soulful R&B-based track that affirms even pain and inner conflict.
In addition, REIRIE will launch their nationwide tour, “REIRIE Live Tour 2026 -Amethyst-,” in February 2026. Spanning 12 cities, the tour will be the largest of the group’s career to date.
