The Pokémon franchise as a whole is having quite a year, not the least of which is because of the next big game from the series coming out soon on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. However, those who are fans of the anime have been going through some interesting times as well. For example, those who love the original classic episodes featuring Ash Ketchum and Pikachu were delighted when the Pokemon TV YouTube Channel not only started uploading the original seasons, but also, recently, the first two animated movies starring Mewtwo and Lugia.
It’s not only been a huge success in terms of people watching it, with numerous episodes having over a million views, but the Pokemon TV team announced today that it has officially gotten over a million subscribers. That’s a big deal, as it could easily mean that not only will more uploads happen over time, for both the anime series and its movies, but maybe The Pokémon Company will take more “swings” with the older content to please fans.
