PlayStation The Concert Tour Reportedly Cancels or Delays Some Shows

By Sean GarmerApril 8, 2025
PlayStation The Concert

In October of last year PlayStation the Concert was announced with touring set to begin April 19 in Dublin, Ireland before moving it over to the UK for several dates. Then in May the tour dates expand through various countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, and more.

PlayStation the Concert which celebrates 30 years of PlayStation featuring music from many of its most popular games such as God of War and The Last of Us promises surprises and a great orchestral experience for all concert goers. Thus perhaps leading many from all across Europe to purchase tickets to these events.

Turmoil for PlayStation The Concert Ticket Purchasers

Unfortunately, per VGC, it seems that many ticket purchasers are receiving emails stating their concert date has been canceled and that they have to reach out to their booking site for a refund.

There also posts on the r/PlayStation Reddit page of several accounts of ticket purchasers receiving emails where their event has been postponed almost an entire year. For example, the event in Brussels Belgium has been moved from May 3, 2025 to March 6, 2026. The Uber arena in Berlin Germany’s posted on X their concert date had been moved from May 6, 2025 to March 12, 2026. Dates in other countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Italy and a few others have been outright canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

PlayStation The Concert is set to be a great celebration of Sony’s more recent successes outlined in chapters.

The show is designed around four main chapters, each dedicated to one of PlayStation’s most iconic titles: The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon. But the music doesn’t end there. Alongside these main chapters, the concert also showcases fan-favorite themes from Bloodborne, Astrobot, Journey, Uncharted, and Helldivers 2, offering a rich and diverse journey through the PlayStation universe.

So far the Ireland and UK tour dates are going on as planned, but it is sad to see something that’s meant to be a joyous event turn into a headache for those that wish to just see musical performances of some of their favorite gaming franchises.
