Persona 3 Reload Brings Forth The Battle Android Aigis

By William "Shadowz" KokNovember 20, 2023
Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis

She doesn’t need any help. Aigis, the Anti-Shadow Weapon is the newest character trailer for Persona 3 Reload.  Voiced by Dawn M. Bennett.

The trailer starts in a funny way. We have seen the screenshots but now we can see the scene in which Aigis had a need to raise hell in Tartarus and wishes to conduct a raid. Though it is too late into the night to do so. It then transitions to the front of the dorms in which it is almost time for Koromaru’s dinner time. Aigis states that she will prepare his food, to which he whimpers in reply. To those who could tell, Aigis isn’t necessarily versed in kitchen skills. Not as bad as Fuuka in comparison but still. We then see the Hero, Mitsuru, and Aigis attend a festival. Aigis won a water pistol at a raffle and asked which would be best suited for combat. To which. The water pistol or her preset combat firearms. To which Mitsuru suggested trading for something else instead.  We then see her in combat in which she uses her firearms to face off against shadows. In the original games, her arms can be customized from a grenade launcher, sniper rifle, and even a rocket punch. I do hope those weapons are still available. Finally, we see her Theurgy attack which is her Orgia Mode. Originally it was just a power-up frenzy state for heavier attacks before she overheats and becomes immobile for a time. Here in Reload, it does retain some of her frenzy. The description reads that it does heavy pierce damage to all foes, ignoring resistance, while ignoring orders for a time. Overall, a great improvement from the original game.

The next trailer is expected to be Ken Amada. You can view the last trailer of Koromaru here.

Persona 3 Reload is set to release on February 2, 2024, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC Windows, and Steam.
