Peacemaker Season 2 Gets Official Trailer At SDCC

I've tried to make up for my past...

Peacemaker Season 2

With the DCU now fully underway thanks to Superman, James Gunn is now getting ready to connect the DCEU to the DCU further, and yet, not at all. If that sounds complicated to you, that’s the lead-up to Peacemaker Season 2 in a nutshell. At San Diego Comic Con, we got the first full trailer for Gunn’s “passion project” from the DCEU days, and in it, Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, is trying to make up for what happened in his past life…and it’s not going well, especially with Rick Flagg Sr. after him for the death of his son.

So, what’s a Peacemaker to do? Jump into the multiverse, of course! Yeah, he’s going to go into a different Earth where Peacemaker is honored as a hero, his father actually likes him, his brother is apparently still alive, and he has a certain main character as his girlfriend! “Best…dimension…ever!”

We all know it won’t go that way, but Peacemaker Season 2 will likely try to make Chris accept that just because “the grass is greener” somewhere else doesn’t mean it’s his home, and that he can abandon those he’s befriended along the way. Check out the trailer below, and prepare for peace when the show returns on HBO Max, August 21st.
