I’ll be the first to tell you that I think the DCU is not off to the best of starts. There’s plenty of questions about continuity, Creature Commandos was…something, and who knows what the reaction to Superman will be when it arrives. And then, there’s Peacemaker Season 2. This is one of the many “continuity questions” out there and James Gunn has been very mum about what will be addressed and how. That being said, we do have one piece of clarity, and that’s when the second season will arrive.
The first season (as noted in my review) featured Peacemaker going from zero to hero (ish…?) and saving the world from an alien invasion. Based on the clip below, it appears things will only get more explosive when Peacemaker Season 2 arrives on August 21st on Max!
