First Break Labs, a collective of video game industry veterans dedicated to bringing a bright future to the indie scene by empowering developers, and developer The Fine Arc revealed a new developer walkthrough video of Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef, the action roguelike co-op dungeon crawler set in a Lovecraftian universe currently available now via Steam Early Access. Today’s video shows off the newest playable character Florence, powerful incantations, weapon upgrades, and nightmarish enemies.
Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef recently received a major update that features:
- An incantation system overhaul – adds over 20 incantations that imbues your character with different stats
- A new weapon – the Flamethrower targets multiple enemies and spawns fires
- A new enemy – Deep One on Act 2 has been re-imagined to be larger and even more fierce
