PassCode’s New Album INSIGNIA Out June 18

By Josh PiedraMay 22, 2025

The all-female vocal and dance group PassCode will release INSIGNIA, their first full album in approximately four and a half years, on June 18. Ahead of the release, one of the new tracks, “DESTINEX,” will be available early on various music streaming platforms starting May 21. In addition, the album’s cover artwork and full tracklist have been revealed.

“DESTINEX” also serves as the title song for PassCode’s long-awaited arena concert, PassCode YOKOHAMA BUNTAI 2025 “DESTINEX,” scheduled for November. The title conveys the meaning of “beyond a predetermined fate.” Before the song was produced, the group launched a sing-along project, gathering voices from fans around the world. Their passionate chorus is featured in the track, creating a powerful collaboration between the members and their fans.

The full album INSIGNIA includes standout tracks such as “Freely / FLAVOR OF BLUE,” which left a strong impression following Emily Arima’s addition to the group in August 2021, along with live staples like “Clouds Across The Moon” and “GROUNDSWELL.” Also featured are “WILLSHINE,” the opening theme for the second season of the anime SHY, and “SKILLAWAKE,” the opening theme for the second season of As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. In addition to the lead “DESTINEX,” the album also includes five powerful new songs: “MIRAGE WALKER,” “VIRIVIRI,” “One Time Only,” “A certain Motor-Heart is not working right!” and “Echoes.” There’s no doubt this album marks a new pinnacle in PassCode’s career.
