About the Gintama x Noritake Collection

Celebrating Gintama’s 20th anniversary in December 2024, this collection beautifully blends Noritake’s world-class porcelain artistry with the series’ beloved characters. Even after the conclusion of the anime, Gintama remains one of the most iconic franchises, with the upcoming Class 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei spin-off set to premiere in October 2025.

Each set in this collection reflects the spirit of the Gintama universe, featuring intricate details that highlight the personalities and iconic symbols associated with its characters. The delicate cherry blossom motif, a recurring element in Gintama, ties the collection together while enhancing the elegance of each piece. Whether you are a long-time fan or a new admirer, this collection is the perfect blend of tradition and fandom.

Character-Inspired Designs

The collection features nine beautifully designed cup and saucer sets, each inspired by a main character from the series:

  • Gintoki Sakata – A pink-toned design featuring cherry blossoms, a strawberry parfait, his scooter, and the legendary Lake Toya sword.

Gintama

  • Shinpachi Shimura – A green-themed design incorporating cherry blossoms, his “Otsuu-chan Fan Club” emblem, and his signature glasses.

  • Kagura – A red-accented design highlighting her hair ornament and her mother Kouka’s favorite flower.

  • Isao Kondo – A black-toned motif featuring a sword guard, a banana, and a gorilla symbolizing his personality.

  • Toshiro Hijikata – A soft orange-toned piece with a sword guard and his signature mayonnaise theme.

  • Sogo Okita – A deep red-accented design showcasing a sword guard, an eye mask, and his iconic bazooka.

  • Kotaro Katsura – A dark green piece with pink accents, featuring Elizabeth and a time bomb, a nod to his rebellious nature.

  • Shinsuke Takasugi – A deep purple-themed design with peonies and butterflies, representing his enigmatic character.

  • Kamui – A minimalist style featuring a parasol, a rabbit, and Kouka’s favorite flower.

Each set is crafted from Noritake’s signature fine white porcelain, featuring delicate hand-painted details and luxurious gold accents on the rim and handle. These are not just drinkware pieces but exquisite collectibles that reflect the essence of each character.

Each set is crafted from Bone China and retails for ¥18,700 ($124.46). Pre-orders are open until March 26, 2025 (JST).
