Nintendo Today App Gets Key Update

Time to sync things up even more!
By Todd BlackMay 31, 2025
Nintendo Today App

The Nintendo Today App is one of the more unique things that The Big N has done in recent times. Every single day, the app brings either news, information, concept art, videos, or something else Nintendo-related to fans. It’s the perfect way to ensure that the publisher is “always a part of your day.” The app has had some interesting reveals so far, and it’s curious what will happen in the future. To that end, the company revealed a nice update to make the service even more intuitive and to ensure you don’t miss anything while using it on your phone.

For example, you can now link the app to your phone’s calendar, and you’ll be updated on certain upcoming Nintendo events! You know, like a Nintendo Direct that we might get soon? Or the launch of the Switch 2?

You can also program “favorites” in the Nintendo Today App now, and even get a widget to ensure you never miss an update! There are even new wallpaper options for your widget! Fun times.

So, if you have the app, be sure to update it and start using the new features.
