Nintendo Reveals “Mario Day” 2025 Plans!

A smaller celebration, but one nonetheless!
By Todd BlackMarch 5, 2025
Mario Day, Nintendo

Can you believe it’s already March? It seems 2025 is rushing by, and there’s no stopping it, no matter how much we try. As such, we need to look for things to be excited about and enjoy, even if it’s only for a day. Even…if it’s only…Mario Day! That’s right, March 10th is “Mar10 Day” (get it?), and every year, Nintendo decides to do some big things to celebrate its beloved mascot and the biggest gaming icon in the world. Now, certain times in the past have had big reveals or even big releases. Yet, on the announcement page for the special day, you can see that things are a bit more subtle this time around.

For example, there’s a new Nintendo Switch OLED bundle featuring Super Mario Bros Wonder! Furthermore, there will be multiple sales/discounts featuring classic Mario titles on Switch. Oh, that not enough for you? How about using your MyNintendo Account to win a trip for 4 to Super Nintendo World in Orlando, Florida?

And to top it off…they revealed a Mario-themed plane.

The @JetBlue x Nintendo Cloudtop Cruiser is ready for takeoff! Keep your eyes on the sky, because this Mario & Friends-themed plane might be landing on a runway near you. ✈️ pic.twitter.com/bsysNjqTpD
