Music festivals are a staple of summer in Japan, and among them, SUMMER SONIC stands out as one of the country’s premier events. Held not only in Japan but also internationally, it has grown into a globally recognized tradition.
Now, SUMMER SONIC is launching an all-new festival under the SONIC name, bringing together 3D character models from Japan’s top anime, games, and VTubers for a shared showcase on one stage.
In 2025, titles such as The Idolmaster SideM -F＠NTASTIC COMBINATION LIVE-, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ ALL STAR STAGE -Dramatic Magical Story-, and Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- HYPED-UP, among others, will come together at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 9, 10, and 11! Festival-exclusive food and original merchandise will also be available.
Each performance will build on past 3D live shows with unique effects and arrangements created just for this event, all delivered in a festival-style format. Don’t miss this special opportunity to see some of Japan’s most exciting titles unite on one unforgettable stage!
