New Pokemon Legends Z-A Trailer Highlights Mewtwo and Lucario

A classic foe and a new Mega Evolution!

Pokemon Legends Z-A

There are many things that have surprised gamers about Pokemon Legends Z-A, including how great it is once they actually play it (seriously, it’s really good, check out my review for proof of this). The other thing they’re surprised by is the amount of extra content that keeps getting added to the game. Next week kicks off the game’s DLC via the “Mega Dimensions” content, but there’s also been some new endgame content that you can partake in right now. In fact, a new trailer showcased two surprising additions to the current game and the upcoming DLC.

I’ll start with the current game’s new quest. Once you use Mystery Gift to get the Mega Stones that are now available, you’ll get a side quest where you fight and capture the one and only Mewtwo!

That’s pretty cool, as Mewtwo is one of the fan-favorite Pokémon, and is one of the few Pokémon that has multiple Mega Evolutions, both of which you can access in the game via the new promotion.

Then, to amp things up, Pokemon Legends Z-A revealed an all-new Mega Evolution for another fan-favorite Pokemon, Lucario, and this time, it’s a “Z-Form!”

Not gonna lie, that new Mega Evolution looks amazing. Plus, with the “Z-Form” now an option, it makes you wonder what other pocket monster might get the tap to get a new Mega form! The DLC arrives on December 10th for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2! Stay tuned for more reveals!
