New Nintendo Switch 2 Video Highlights How You Can Change Playstyles In-Game

It's just that easy!

Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo has honestly been going out of its way at times to showcase the many hardware advancements that the Nintendo Switch 2 has. Why? More than likely, they’re trying to show off the different, unique elements and advances that the console has over its predecessor. One of those advancements comes from the Joy-Cons, which can now function as mouse controllers for people to play games the same way they would on PC. We’ve seen how they function in many ways, but today, The Big N decided to show off something new.

Specifically, they showed off how you can switch (pun intended) between the standard Joy-Con control mode to being able to use the mouse functionality. Check it out below:

Nintendo showed how fast it is to switch between mouse mode and the regular joy-con control option.

As you can see, the player didn’t even have to pause Metroid Prime 4 to change up the playstyle. That’s really efficient and means that gamers can dive in and out of playstyles until they find the one they want without having to worry about cords, or menus, or anything else that can take away from playtime.
