Believe it or not, Princess Peach Showtime is the only 1st party Nintendo game coming to the Switch in 2024 that is a totally new title and not a port/remaster/remake. Kind of mind-boggling, wouldn’t you say? And yet, as several members of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast crew have noted, they’re excited for the title! Why? Because Princess Peach deserves more games that feature her in the starring role! She’s earned it. And as the latest trailer for the upcoming Switch title reveals, she’ll have plenty of transformations at her disposal to help her save the theater she’s trapped in.
Thanks to the reveal trailer, we know Princess Peach Showtime will have multiple costumes that Peach can use to traverse the various stages and defeat the “Sour Bunch.” But in the newest trailer, we got our first glimpses of Cowgirl Peach and Ninja Peach. Both of them have special abilities that will further add to the variety of stages, and it’ll make this game a must-have when it arrives on March 22nd.
