I have been waiting to see that empty Neptunia game hole get filled in my Steam library. Luckily, Idea Factory International has announced the release date for the final Neptunia Steam game so far, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution.
The press release says it all.
“Idea Factory International is excited to announce that the Neptunia action RPG, Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution, will be launching on Steam® on August 26, 2025! Fans can head to the Steam store page and wishlist today.
The game is also now available digitally and physically for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.” – Press Release
There is a review of the game on the website, but if you ask me which version of the game you should buy, go for the Xbox version. It is Play Anywhere compatible, and it has a cap of 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS. If you are waiting for it on PC, then wishlist it on Steam today! It will be available August 26th, 2025.
