Friday’s Nintendo Direct was a big deal, as we got some key announcements about the release dates for certain big titles, including FINALLY getting the release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. However, that was just the first step in the process. Now, we need to actually get the games onto our Nintendo Switch 2 systems! While physical cartridges will eliminate most data issues for players, so long as there are physical versions available, those who get games digitally will want to be ready for potentially big download sizes so they can play the game right at launch.
Enter Stealth, who posted a trio of data sizes for key games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in the four months or so. First, there’s Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment. The game will be 45 GBs, and as Stealth reveals, that’s a LOT more than the last two games in the franchise were…
Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment is 44.9 GB on Switch 2. Other games:Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition – 12.9 GBHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – 11.1 GB

As for the Super Mario Galaxy remasters that are coming out next month, those you’ll have less to worry about, as they’re 7 GB combined! That makes sense, though, as they were on the Wii and haven’t had new content added, just updated graphics.
Super Mario Galaxy file size is 3.3 GB and Super Mario Galaxy 2 is 2.6 GB.

Finally, there’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which will be…88 GB?!?!? Is this another plot on the part of Sephiroth?
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Switch 2 is 87.9 GB. It will take up 34% of the Switch 2's internal storage when installed.

So, yeah, you’ll want to prep your Switch 2 for these games, and if we get some more reveals on data sizes, we’ll be sure to let you know so you’re not caught off guard!
