Today, during the Convergence Showcase, Fumi Games and Playside Studios revealed more of their upcoming title Mouse: P.I. For Hire, with a brand-new gameplay trailer.
The new gameplay highlights the never-before-revealed Robo-Betty, just one of the unique bosses that players will encounter in the world of Mouseburg. Robo-Betty dwells in the pits of a secret laboratory and must be taken down in an epic three-stage battle.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire draws inspiration from the classic cartoons of the 1930s and echoes gritty noir films of the era. Its black and white rubber hose visuals are drawn by hand, frame by frame, delivering a striking vintage aesthetic. Expect non-stop cartoon chaos and explosive FPS combat, with a fully loaded arsenal of classic, creatively twisted and experimental firearms. Lethal encounters and manic boss battles await in this boomer shooter-inspired, retro-vibed adventure – and the denizens of Mouseburg never go down without a fight!
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire will be available March 19, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
