Digital Eclipse and Atari have officially unveiled the physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, a digital restoration project celebrating the legacy of the iconic fighting game franchise. The announcement was made today during Evo 2025, the world’s largest and longest-running fighting game tournament.

By now, you’re likely wondering which games will be included in the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. Well, some of them were featured in the trailer, while some have been confirmed elsewhere. There are, however, several more that are supposed to be revealed at a later date.

Here’s what’s in the collection that we know about so far.

  • Mortal Kombat (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
  • Mortal Kombat II (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
  • Mortal Kombat 3 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Arcade, SNES)
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PlayStation 1)
  • Mortal Kombat 4 (Arcade)
  • Mortal Kombat Advance (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (Game Boy Advance)

The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will be offered in three different editions:

Standard Edition: Includes the base game and is available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch for $49.99, and Nintendo Switch 2 for $59.99. Xbox Series X|S versions are also available exclusively through Atari.com and LimitedRunGames.com for $49.99.  All Nintendo versions will ship with a game card containing the full game data. As a special Day One bonus, every Standard Edition pre-order includes an exclusive slipcover, only available to early buyers.

Deluxe Edition: Comes with all contents of the Standard Edition plus a Steelbook, mini marquees, a magnet, poster, lenticular card, arcade flyers, and arcade cabinet cards. Priced at $69.99 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, and $79.99 for Nintendo Switch 2.

Kollector’s Edition: Designed by Limited Run Games, this premium package includes the Standard Edition, a Goro controller holder statue, commemorative arcade token, hardcover art and lore book, and a pin set. Everything is housed in a numbered collector’s box. Available for pre-order on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC for $149.99. Pre-orders are open now through August 31.

Pre-orders are now live at Atari.com, LimitedRunGames.com, and major retailers, with Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection being released on December 12, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
