Mortal Kombat 1 Peacemaker Gameplay Revealed

By Kevin KellyFebruary 22, 2024

Armed with Air Guiters, Eagle assists, some hilarious banter for face-offs, and a 9mm, Peacemaker makes his debut to Mortal Kombat 1 in his own gameplay trailer. WWE star John Cena takes on the likes of Earthrealm and Outworld in his gameplay trailer. Peace unlocked, as he says. With his Suicide Squad movie and standalone showdown, it’s time he sets his sights on video games.

Doing an air juggle with the Janet Cage Kameo is the anti-hero at his finest at this point. He seems to have a teleportation gimmick that even torpedos him into opponents. One of his Eagle assist causes a launcher. Peacemaker has a force field that reflects projectiles. Right when things can’t get any more crazier, his Eagle can also stun opponents by scratching their faces off. Everyone wants to be like T-Hawk.

Right when things can’t get any more crazier, his Eagle can also stun opponents by scratching their faces off as a potential extender. The shotgun-crotch move itself… that’s totally out there. We got his Fatal Blow and Fatality moves from the trailer.

Also, Mortal Kombat 1 will have a Free Play Weekend coming up from March 7th – March 10th. Those who bought the Premium Edition or Kombat Pack can get to play with Peacemaker early, starting February 28th. The next couple of fighters, The Boys’ Homelander and Takeda, are due to come to the tournament in Spring and Summer.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch.
