Mori Calliope to Perform “LET’S JUST CRASH” as Opening Theme for Gachiakuta Second Cour

By Josh PiedraOctober 8, 2025

Mori Calliope, a VTuber artist known for her bilingual Japanese-English lyrics and outstanding rap skills, has been chosen to perform the opening theme for the second cour of the anime series Gachiakuta.

Gachiakuta, a dark fantasy manga by Kei Urana, is currently serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The anime adaptation began broadcasting and streaming on July 6 and is now entering its second cour. A longtime fan of the original manga, Mori Calliope will perform the theme song, “LET’S JUST CRASH,” adding her signature style to the series.

Since her major debut in 2022 under Universal Music, Mori Calliope has gained international recognition as a “Made in Japan” artist. Her latest album, PHANTOMIME, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Alternative Album Chart in 10 countries/regions around the world and has charted in the US Billboard Artist 100, World Album, Top Album Sales, Heatseekers Albums and more. In February 2025, she held her first overseas solo concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, which sold out.
