Monolith Soft Revealed As Co-Developer Of Mario Kart World

They just love helping make great games!

Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch 2

As we noted earlier, today is the launch day for the Nintendo Switch 2, and that also means it’s the launch day for Mario Kart World! Nintendo has promised that this game is massive in scope and will help change how you look at racing in the franchise. It has easily one of the most unique rosters of characters ever, and alongside new modes like Knockout Tour and Free Roam, you’re going to be busy doing everything within it. However, if you want to thank someone for the fun experience, you can’t just thank Nintendo. Monolith Soft also deserves your praise.

Over on their Twitter feed and on their official website, Monolith Soft revealed that they helped with the creation of Mario Kart World. Specifically, they helped make the character designs and the levels.

Monolith Soft announced they helped develop Mario Kart World alongside Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 9 Starting the Switch 2 era just like they did with Switch!Mario Kart World was added to Monolith Soft's website.

This continues the trend that’s been going on since the OG Switch era. The team has helped with all the games listed above, and that’s quite a roster of games to be associated with! If you didn’t know, the dev team has a dedicated squad of people who are there solely to help grow Nintendo technology and help develop games with them.

What other Nintendo Switch 2 games will they assist with or create? Now that the console is out, we’ll find out over time!
